-RC- Posted April 30, 2016 Hey mate, Sunshine Coast Hinterland is da bizzness. With all this rain and high humidity we're having there's bound to be a few about before it gets too cold. Good luck!
-RC- Posted May 1, 2016 ^ Yeah, saw a few very wet cubes out there, and a few pins as well. I'd say there would be more tomorrow, and maybe for 1 or 2 days after, regardless of rainfall
Zedo Posted May 23, 2016 Yeah I missed the season. But I need to find a ground closer to Brissy. Maybe next season I'll see if anyone wants to go pickin.

Drildo Posted January 12, 2017 That's amazing mate, I'm full blown mongrel from your pic. A+ 10/10 Are the odd/smaller two Pan Cyans (blue meanies)?
Strontium Dawg Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Arr, they be pans. Keep an eye out for pans down your way in the next month Skellum (although it will need to get a lot wetter, been very dry). Edited January 12, 2017 by Glaukus
-RC- Posted January 12, 2017 Yeah mate, the old pan cyan/cube combo. They grow out of the same pat up here, conveniently. Not so many this year to kick off; usually they fruit well before the cubes, but we only had about 50ml that kicked these bad boys off, so who knows?
Drildo Posted January 12, 2017 Arr, they be pans. Keep an eye out for pans down your way in the next month Skellum (although it will need to get a lot wetter, been very dry). Yeah Glaukus I'll be sussing it out hard down here soon when the weather permits, I just don't want to trespass you know... I'm going up north in the next few weeks (Grassy Head, Mid North Coast) to hunt too. This mad hermit woman my mother knows is going to let me through her field, can't phukn wait! Yeah mate, the old pan cyan/cube combo. They grow out of the same pat up here, conveniently. Not so many this year to kick off; usually they fruit well before the cubes, but we only had about 50ml that kicked these bad boys off, so who knows? Absolute madness my brother. Get some spore prints of the pan cyans next time they come up if you can be arsed RC - I'd be happy to exchange some of my sweet sweet dole money for them mate.

Drildo Posted January 21, 2017 Significant rainfall and humidity in SE QLD this evening. Tomorrow should be worth a look. Take some prints of your native cubes n pans, RC. If you have any luck fingers crossed. I'll buy em'
-RC- Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) A few rogue cubes about, but so far very minimal pans. A bit weird because they usually fruit first. Still waiting for the big rain though, so if you are going for a forage this year, I think the best is yet to come. -RC- Posted March 3, 2017 Humidity is great, and the recent downpours have brought the cubes out in force. If you haven't made it out as yet, check for the naturally dehydrated ones in the more shadier low lands near water sources. Have fun!

Heavily agreed skellum , personally that last picture with that perfect form mushroom illuminated by the sunlight , definitely barred up hah
Drildo Posted March 5, 2017 definitely barred up hah Beyond barred m8 - mucky undies n shit yo! Yeah last pic is unreal in the sun, there's a few pictures there with what looks like beautiful morning sun.... Magic. I love some of the unblemished perfectly symmetrical caps. Looks like specimens cultivated over seas, nature is beautiful. Some of the colouring on the Pan Cyans is very interesting too, some quite dark, some very light. Your in a pumping part of Aus RC - grats mate.
