mutant Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) "gabba club in Sydney" I was in berlin in 2002. every second friday it was hardcore techno night, the whole club - two gabba floors and of course I was on the hardest (basement). Actually one of the reasons berlin was chosen (exchange student was I) was that it had a hardcore techno scene, regular gabba parties and styles I liked, unlike the idiots of dutch scene. [Yeap the dutch scene was becoming stupid from pretty early on, as early as the Thunderdome 10+ or something... The germans went industrial, faster, original and harder. Some people round the globe kept the extremeity and originality high, as the dutch made the same shit year after the other.] So anyways, I went to the gabba nights and I always left at the end, and there were girls along the 7-8 people who stayed dancing till the end, after the lights went on and the music stopped. But it didn't play speedcore for 10 hours! Berlin knows what DJ should be like. Plus you need speed to last. Anywayz depends on the set. I dont particularly like modern speedcore, but I can do with 280 bpm, but not all the fucking time! So I dont know what they play there, hope its not the dutch shits. In anycase, its pretty neat if such a place exists. Its pretty healthy to express yourself in this way, especially if the people are not aggressive from combinations of acid and stims or other stupid cocktales. People were so fucking great in Tresor@Berlin 2002!! other than that, yeah I love hardcore music, as you might have understood. I was a fan of hardcore techno before I even smoked pot for the first time. That is I listened to hard techno from 1992, but I first smoked in 1997! I loved hardcore techno when my classmates did not even know what techno or rave is, when there was only one breakbeat fan in my city, a dude I knew. next , some dudes from hamburg , I got to know these guys in Tresor, and they gave me (for free) 2 cds of them (they were thrilled a greek dude who was a fan of their stuff was attending their set!) Quantum Future Posted April 20, 2014 Nazi-Speedcore like DJ Panzerfaust is the hardest I've heard. When it comes to difficulty of listening then merzbow, riyoji ikeda, c+c music factory. Shranz is quite harsh. Frenchcore, hardcore techno, many many more
Quantum Future Posted April 20, 2014 And of course J-Pop and J-Pop and Indian wedding music.
mutant Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) re> DJ Panzerfaust are you nazi friendly? okey I admit its hard, and fuck, I even like some of it... now thats what you would call evil music. hard as fuck and nazi as fuck but claiming its the hardest? what other titles , apart from DJ Panzerfaust (nazi-speedcore) are so hard? didn't find any other than than, give us more examples on frenchcore. c+c music factory >>lol wtf? we got problem with neonazis in greece recently and europe in general... dont you have to denounce fascism when suggesting such stuff?? Quantum Future Posted April 23, 2014 Speedfreak, sidilarsen, radium, enhancer, playmo, androgyn network, maisouille, le bask are all Frenchcore. Dig yourself - http://www.discogs.com/search/?q=Frenchcore+ Panzerfaust as you wrote is hard as fuck in many layers, that's why it's the hardest so far for me. I'm not nazi friendly, but I can understand why some people follow fear, lack of personal power and low emotions to build a society or ideology. It's not mine tho and you don't need to discriminate them as people even if you don't agree with their ideas and lifestyle.
mutant Posted April 23, 2014 I am quite sure speedfreak (aka biochip C) is of german or dutch origin androgyn network are nice... le bask too... I'm not nazi friendly, but I can understand why some people follow fear, lack of personal power and low emotions to build a society or ideology. It's not mine tho and you don't need to discriminate them as people even if you don't agree with their ideas and lifestyle. I can understand their methods too yeah, but wow, I don't need to discriminate the neonazis huh?!!? well YOU dont need to do this, I WANT to discriminate them, and you saying that makes you at least a bit nazi-friendly IMO saying this dudes music is real hardcore is enough. no need to like them guys. other than that, nice recommendations. mutant Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) ^^ that was cool it doesn't remind a lot , the dutch former and modern scene, what do they call it , darkcore... pif.. {ehm] that this dude seems to to do otherwise this song , wow, I would clearly include in my all time hardest tracks and playlists in wild partys whatever the case.. I could say you found a gem song, from a crap "subgenre" I clearly belong to the "scene" that believe that the particular trend of gabba , that began with rotterdam records and the paul elstak and all posse, degraded multiple times into repeated stupidity music, whatever music, is inspiration. you cant make a zillion tracks around the same idea this is not a "genre" of music anymore, what they did this is a RMX and they did multiple times those "rotterdam" dudes anyways gabba is gabba, hardcore techno is hardcore techno but boy that le bask (and if this is french core) that song : epidemie .... what a fucking song , mean and up to the middle, its pretty standard , basic and not some thing special, but then////!!! le bask is (it seems) individual, both oldschool and ultra modern , fresh and with a hint of the traditional I havent really searched a lot about crazy speeedcore bands but that wacko dude that suggested the lebask , boy that was a coooooool hint dude thanks a lot what a band I could swear I heards songs in some d+b party where in the aftermath, some 15 y.o. was DJing and played some such shit, which I recognised werent "darkcore" of the dutch school . I was like: "WTF" and danced like a son of bitch to the barbaric hardcore techno she played. what modern hardcore techno should be what can you say europeans do it again french , boy, with this language, when you have a genre called "frenchcore" then it is sure your gabba must sound harsh. they do oy I could write for hours about gabba and in how many ways I like le bask but I dont find many info on the net about 'em, huh? PS: boy I long my left knee get well!! Edited April 27, 2014 by mutant
