Sydney area- acacia id help for beginners..

Question

Hi guys!

I am very new to Australian plants..

I have come across 2 sp of this plant today. Both Northern beaches Sydney.

I have no idea how to identify them if they not blooming.

Maybe someone is willing to help me with the instructions and intro to Acacia world?

In exchange I can offer some chemicals and lab equipment :)

Picked today in Northern beaches

Welcome Anakinra.

No need to collect 1kg of bark for botanical ID purposes, or even for a herbarium record. If you had 1kg of bark it could be construed that you are intent to do something illegal  .

Bark should only be collected from fallen wild trees. If you want to strip it with a knife, grow your own.

I assume you require the bark for some botanical purpose oc.
