Cuttings from Cajabamba

Recommended Posts

During my trip found a pile of cuttings by the side of the road left to die, about 4 kms from the town of Cajabamba.

And in the same site, just about 20 metres away a few dry logs with resurecting pups, just amazing!

My guess is it should bloom in about 4 days. Cuttings that flower are a bit strange, they will abort the flower at any and can be difficult to pollinate and set seed. Once the fruit is set they will drop the fruit early at random. Mature/established plants rarely do this unless under enormous stress.

judging by the latest pics, I'd put flowering at 2, 3 days max.

have you got a tricho pollinator for it?

Ethno , IF I succeed you can count on them.

Hello, thanks for that input I will prepare my heart for the worst.

Zelly, no pollinators, this is my first flower ever. I will try the cement tech. for selfpol. I will ship you a few anthers in a ziploc.

Obs: I wonder If this can still be considered a cutting, It set flower months after being rooted.
