ID please growing in my garden

Question

Would some one be able to id this for me. they are growing in my garden on a pecan log.

it's in the hills of the subtopics

I'm a mushroom noob so have no idea... they smell nice and can i eat them?

They may be a Panus sp. If spore print is White then it is.

These are inedible.
