Edible/Medicinal culture seeking thread

Recommended Posts

Anyone have some even dirty prints or cultures to sell/swap for/give away?
im trying to expand my range of edibles.
Im especially interested in pioppino and lionsmane, but some non-white or weird oysters would be great too.
Im handy enough with agar ill eventually pull something clean off it, if its dirty, just needs to be viable

I am about to do some work over the next few days to try resurrect some old prints via LC but definitely have Amazonian and Burmese p.cub prints from last year that are the best genes from those particular batches. Will be looking to trade for some diversity very soon so feel free to PM. Pic is Amazons.

Peace,

Ethno.

PS - Good to be back after a year or two hiatus!

Would be great to get some swordbelt mushroom spores, they look so cool! Supposed to be very tasty too.

Hey guys

I have an extensive collection of fungi and that does include King stropharia and reishi species but not exactly sure how difficult this would be for customs :S

Hi all,

I have decided get back into mycology after a fair bit of a break, and need to get some fresh cultures and start my collection up again

I am after either liquid culture or agar plates of the following:

Shiitake (fast growing if possible)
Enoki
DFAM - Victorian Origin Wild
Victorian Blue Oyster

King Oyster (Pleurotus Eryngii)

Lions mane (Hericium Coralloides)

Pioppino.

Located in Victoria

I am willing to pay cash or work out some seed trades.

Nitpicky but i think H. coralloides is not exactly Lion's Mane but a related species. It's confused cause it seems that there are two species of Hericium with the name Bear's Head? Fun names for these stunning mushrooms anyway. :)

What is DFAM?

It's summer here and idk if it is the best time to be sending cultures, but you can contact me if you like. I generally have cultures of all those common ones (various ones commercial grade cultures) and many more.

Good point Solipsis, L. Coralloides is an Australian species. Looking for both then.

DFAM is an Oyster mushroom strain (Don't feed after midnight).

Thank you for the offer, If I get stuck I will be in touch, but I would prefer to get the cultures locally if possible.

I'd be keen on some Lions mane for my brother if you'd part with one?

Careful using aluminium foil against your cakes, the acids or mycelium tend to eat it and you don't want to be ingesting too much of that stuff, not that healthy eating foil, allegedly. ;-)
