Gawd hb I don't know why I have to get mixed up in your prolapse fetish. I bet you typed that shiZ while enjoying your prolapseparty.com subscription, but what really bothers me is that it always seems to be my name on your lips during your vinegar stroke. Stop drawing parallels to me and your twisted fetishes bruv.

should be the last shot of it on a live vine.....vines been battered to buggery, and the next cold front looks lethal to it

So it nearly pushed itself off the vine with its shoulders...even with the vine bent away from it...lol

i bet ya stilly is getting itchy fingers aching to post a pic of his 'sleeper' pumpkin.

'looks like a hb 'rana out front but it's a stroked 350 under the bonnetsand", he was heard to say to the local newspaper print reporter from the FNQ tribune daily

ekka must have made him sign a disclosure clause or sumfin

:bootyshake::devil::wink:

Maybe 2 weeks old now, slow going.

You willing to part with some seeds from that monster, waterboy? :)

You should have posted those ^ pics in a reverse order WB. Looking at the shadow of your mini me , it looks like he has a weapon ready to slash that pumpkin, lol.

Such a perfect orange shiny BIG pumpkin,....you have watched grow for...how many days?....i dunno how you could chop it up. Lol.

I enjoyed watching the progress, and i am looking forward to next season. You should add another fruit/vegetable to the list of WB's giant grows.

How about a gourd grow off next spring?! :)

..yeah there was the legendary sword of seed harvesting. Axe did a better job...lol

Theres something satisfying about taking to a BFP (*big fckn pumpkin) with an axe.

Be a bit of 100 days thereabouts from seed to seed. Early frost finished the vine off good and proper.

I am thinkin about a giant kohl rabi for the winter

Could go a gourd off though for the summer.

Hey Gimli, watch the position of that fruit....looks like it will twist itself off if it goes full noise.

Stillers , good to see you tapping mate. Seeds from the purdy orange one are yours if you still have the bug mate

Hope alls good with you and yours.

I put a brick under the vine on each side of the fruit to keep the stalk level - would this be okay?

^maybe...shouldnt do any damage. Sometimes you move the vine , sometimes the fruit.

If you are going to use a sand bed ( sand best foundation IMO) get a fair load under it now, then ramp it out from the edges as it grows.

Gotta look out for tension and torsion on the fruits feeder stem. ALWAYS keep the fruit on the outside of a bend

(1st pic above with coke can shows it well), otherwise if on the inside you'll never get enough time to realign the vine

and it will just push itself off (or break the vine trying to bend it too far in a go....lol...done that before)

Dont try to move a wet vine, and only attempt it when the vine is warm if its needed (midday or some such shit)

EDIT - as far as the fruit...you want it positioned where you think is right before its the size of a basketball IMO...then leave the fruit to grow as it will.
