irabionist Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) So I was checking out some seedling containers I had forgotten about and there were two seedlings one of the containers seemed to be freaks (in my eyes). The container was from a mix of seedlings that happened to get mixed up when the wind thought it'd be funny to tip them over. All the ones that survived where put into two containers. A lot died afterwards but a few survived. They were all trich's and all of them except these look like normal seedlings, what are your thoughts? franky Posted April 29, 2014 hey all, Just curious about this bridgesii seedling, it was started a few years ago and out of 100 seeds this was the only one i got to live lol. (my frist time germinating cacti seed) Anyway, it has since gotten over terrible acclimatization to my greenhouse, as is greeen and growing just fine now. Except it almost looks like it is turning variagated?? In the pictures below you will see, i originally thought it was insect damage, but it would be at the tip no? and the plant is still growing perfectly fine :S Anyone know? Cheers
djmattz0r Posted April 29, 2014 Looks like it could be a little sunburn? If it had a tough time acclimating, could just be callousing the old damage so shouldn't really be a problem. However if it spreads then it could be something else. I'd keep an eye on it just in case.
