Sorry mater B , was just referring to overseas trades and the impact it can have with bringing in viruses and such. I was off topic.

All good mate! I think you might be mixing something up though. Dr Snuggles lives Germany and i know he has a very unique job that enables him to collect plants from pretty much anywhere and completely legal and above board. Hes also a pretty dam good grower for seed as well and would have one of the best collections going... In my industry the best of everything is german....Festool, Fein and Haberle etc.

So i was infering that Dr Snuggles collection was top shelf like other German products.

Sorry if i offended you in any way?

Ha must admit im thinking more inanimate... Really get moist over German and Japanese tools.... They are just the beez neez. I have a couple of memorably painful Bavarians. But i have worked with painful people of every heritage... Im very sure many people in my industry/in general think im hard work.

Glaukus i have that graft for you just waiting to pup and i will send.

Back on track..........

I know off his collection it's amazing, You didn't offend me. just see in my field of work ,Agronomist. That I have seen poor results in peoples choices to trade plants overseas without knowing of the impact it can have. you have an outstanding trichocereus collection MB   . So we really don't need to be importing any stock, Really? .

My opinion yes, but fact too.     yowie amd sharxx blue has popped up in he's collection. This is a big concern. Plants must be declared so no out breaks can happen.

Interesting you mention this. There was just a story on the radio the other day about the virtual non-existance (relative to the US anyway) of German comedy, both in terms of TV sitcoms and stand up. I was only half listening, but I believe they attributed this partially to the German work ethic (basically if you are being funny then you are not working hard enough), and to the Nazis control of the country during WWII (something along the lines of it being too dangerous to make jokes about the Nazis, and folks not wanting to do comedy in support them - again only half listening).

Anyway, sorry to derail... back to on topic posting...

Maybe it's cause they just aren't funny.

If it's anything like were i'm from comedy is usually mostly cringe

Free speech, protect their women from migrants?  But damn near the best at most other things.
