nrivers Posted July 7, 2016 Very nice! What are your coloured hybrid crosses Señor?
Señor Corrochio Posted July 7, 2016 Thanks mate, The last two are Flying saucer x Liskes Prachtstueck, I didn't check the labels of the first two but should be either of Anhalt Prachtstueck or U.S. hybrid Orange California x Eric. I got a mixed bag off him as well but haven't sown any yet.
nrivers Posted July 8, 2016 Awesome! Would be keen on trades if you propagate in the future. Will be interesting to see what size they flower. I seen Ferret grew some from seed and they took 4-5 years I think. Hopefully the peres should speed it up to 2-3 years
Señor Corrochio Posted July 8, 2016 Sure mate absolutely. I have a fair few of each going, I'll let you know this coming season. Planning to regraft a few of the more decent sized ones to fat super pedro stocks come spring. These two are the same cross so I think 2-3 years is reasonable to expect. http://www.kakteen-willi.de/displayimage.php?album=8&pid=3937#top_display_media http://www.kakteen-willi.de/displayimage.php?album=8&pid=3822#top_display_media

theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted July 16, 2016 Zygo graft updates. For trich seedlings I'll stick to Pere in the future. I've still had better success with Astro > zygo than Astro > Pere tho. No photos tho sorry they've since been regrafted to trich stock the search for the perfect stock still continues! It seems like it's a combinations game and not a one stock fits all scenario
BedOSpines Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) First sign of growth of ariocarpus grafted to rhipsalidopsis. Its a not as resistent to rot compared with peres so ive found out. And much slower but that was expected. Edited August 1, 2016 by Bedofspines
djmattz0r Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Update with a few new grafts as well. Juul's Giant X SS02 on Quiabentia pflanzii stock, hoping it will be a longer lasting option than pereskiopsis. VTBM Myrtillo geo 'strictum' crest Almost forgot to add, this is the TBMC graft I removed because it was growing into some other cacti. ~8 months of growth Edited August 5, 2016 by djmattz0r
nrivers Posted August 9, 2016 Got 15 packs of these seeds (Terscheckii MN0531) and with almost zero germination, I was lucky enough to get one going! He was grafted and failed, then re-grafted to a small dodgy stock, he was dehydrated and on his last legs but pulled through and now is coming along nicely!

BedOSpines Posted August 12, 2016 So this turb degrafted itself off of a tricho, i grafted it because it arrived with a rotten bottom half.
