veritas
walked into my garage where all my seedlings are and busted a dove running amuck amongst the cacti! lost quite a few loph seedlings as well as various others. One 5cm cactus looked like it had been pecked, plus it took me a good 5 minutes to get the bugger out

They breed like fucking rabbits, muscle other native birds out, stomp all over seedlings, steal dogs biscuits, nest where i dont want em, and are just generally uber-tenacious flying weeds!

Grrrrr! some big peck marks in there too and a whole bunch more seedlings destroyed. 2 dogs live in my garage too sleeping through the whole thing! is there anything I should do in regards to the pecks on the buttons or should I just leave them to heal on their own?Lok Im with you, even if they were white doves pecking away the rage would still be there

theuserformallyknownasd00d
Took a heap of cuttings today of various plants I'm overwintering indoors. Gotta love that all year growth ;) I also spread some special mycelium around some mother plants in pots. Hopefully mother aya and the psycotrias don't mind their new cosmic partner in crime.

bogfrog
Massive dumping of snow here. As would be expected, many of my plants dont seem to be enjoying it!But i only have so much room in my greenhouse, so i have to be picky with who i pamper today.Took heaps of salvia cuttings after my largest plant snapped in the night.I am a bit gutted as the tip looks like it was forming a flower bud <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.pngLost my cape gooseberry and my datura metel too <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.png natural selection i suppose
Horus
I sat and meditated in my sub patchI was told to mulch everything in the Garden with Caapi leaf, especially herbs and vegies. The vine will improve the DNA of everything and is another way for the great spirit to improve my own DNAI have been shown, via the potentiated nature of the aya mulched subs that the vine has many more uses, and I am actually quite surprised that this hasn't been discussed by shaman before. This stuff will make magic mulch !!Thank you great mother for showing me new ways to experience your magic

planthelper
spent a while in the shed, making a planter box for my bamboo, so some of my garden receives more privacy.one of the two bamboo's in the box was planted out in the garden for a while, and I had to dig it out, exercise in the garden is, only second to disco dancing for me.the box is made out of scavenged hoop pine, and I lined it with black plastic, it has no bottom board, I rested it onto some old roofing, the waves, give it drainage, if you get me right. anyway bamboo looks cool in planter boxes....
shonman
I fed my plants, mixed up some coco coir, sand, perlite rooting medium, placed plant markers in plants.. removed some psychotria leaves that were sprouting plantsFrom growing media infested with bugs.....looks like they will make it....Removed several psychotria Carthaginensis/alba from pots, possible source of bugs in leaf cuttings...I thought my indoor media was mostly bug free, but realized this is not so.Actually saw a small centipede in one of my mitragyna indoor pots!Where could it have come from?Ants have also invaded my house and really like my indoor garden, they seem to be 'milking it'.I am making a makeshift outdoor greenhouse to remove the plants from indoors.Moved super dwarf banana, lemondrop mangosteen trees, wax Jambu, Cherimoya grafted tree outside.Surprising what a problem pests can be indoors, which just don't make it outdoors. This indoor carpeting may harbor a jungle of immense microscopic proportions.....I am re rooting my psychotria "hot lips"..... They had rooted vigourously,But after rooting has started to flower...what was needed was leaf production. Not sure what killed such vigorous roots, chlorine from killing bugs perhaps?Dumping concentrated 'Rootone' and water solution the the coco coir they are grown in?Drying out a bit much that one time....not sure it was that though.....The roots were so vigorous and amazing, I hope they return.Placed them in humidity containers in perlite to root over.Hope they make it!Planted some Calea dream herb that I rooted in a cup with water into peat pots.Accidentally burned the peat pots by attempting to sterilize them in the microwave.Plastic bag melted to, unlike last time.Gardening indoors can have setbacks carpeting is no longer acceptable in my residences.Hatched a plan to grow Chinese medicinal herbs in shipping containers under controlled conditions using intensive techniques.Like aeroponics for root production, etc....A sort of "for grid" system utilizing a gas well for heat and electricity generation. Now if I can just raise some capital to set up a specially designed absolutely controlled conditions. The market for Chinese herbs is huge...finally, something we can sell to the Chinese!?I also like working with the harmonies of nature in it's symbiotic relationships,Conditions permitting....
