obtuse Posted December 2, 2012 Confirming that i'll be there. cant wait to catch up with you all. emule, i know exactly how you feel, i used to be really shy, still am on occassions. But when cathcing up with people of similar interests and mindset, it make it so much easier. i hope to see you there. Not sure what i can bring for trades this time around. all i can probably manage will be a cactus cut for a newbie, and maybe some seeds.
Amazonian Posted December 2, 2012 I'd like to try to come along. I'll be held back by time and the fact that I'm EXTREMELY shy around new people. You will be made to feel welcome Emule...after the initiation of course MwwawwWwwaa . *jokes. . It will be good to meet you. @ obtuse.. You have 'confirmed' and theres no turning back now. etherealdrifter Posted December 4, 2012 Cool ..this list of member's who have expressed an interest in coming to the 'Let's boot Sharxx otta of this state meet' ....is pretty wonderful:) cannot wait to spin the bottle with you guys again, shaping up nicely >>just remember good people, two coughs, turn around anti-clockwise and slap each other's face (gently tho) -thrice times if friend or ten times with gusto -if foe) If all else fails use the 'safety' word(bannaboat makes you float)

Amazonian Posted December 13, 2012 Saturdays weather forecast is for thunderstorms !!! .... exciting. I hope the rotunda doesn't have a large flag pole thing on the roof *looks for her rubber soled footwear. 2 more sleeps....unless you count the siestas during the day... then it could be like 4 more sleeps, lol. Halif Posted December 13, 2012 Woah... yeah look at that forecast! Nothing can stop me playing frisbee, though. Rain, hail, sun, snow... all these elements just make the frisbee's journey more exciting and unpredictable. Ever see one of those samurai movies where they stand resolute, knee-deep in the ocean swell, katana in hand, cutting at the waves, being knocked down over and over, in some kind of zen character building exercise? No? Me neither. But it'd make a cool movie. And in any case, that's me with the frisbee. If the wind is gail force, I just throw that thing into the wind and then try and catch it when it comes back. The Zen of Frisbee. That's the title of the movie I'm going to make. Possibly on Saturday in the botanical gardens if someone can film me with my phone...

Amazonian Posted December 14, 2012 ^ phew !!! I read "sorry"... . And I thought you weren't coming obtuse . I am sure we can handle a bit of Tassie weather . Just hope we get the rotunda as it won't be fun dodging lightning. But surely we are the only ones who will be brave enough to venture out with a forecast like we have. Lol
obtuse Posted December 14, 2012 Just read the forecast. looks cool. as long its not rain, and only showers its sweet. And the wind has just kicked meaning by rights this current rain should get swept away overnight. Well thats my experience from tas, maybe melbourne has different rules lol.
