mindperformer Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) one can also preserve the plant materials in alcohol (at least 30%) which is also representative for botanical collections because the 3- dimensional structures and cells stay intact (physically not biologically) or freeze them or put them in cast resin (for representative purposes) or simply dry them and put them in screw top jars or put them in oil (for aromatic plants like fresh Clerodendrum philippinum- flowers, shortly dried Thymus serpyllum- leaves, chuchuhuasi, essential oils .... or extract them and fill the dry extract in gelatine capsules and these with a desiccant in a small plastic bag (more for bio- or psychoactive plants) Edited September 27, 2012 by mindperformer 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
