zed240
for your information, I still got seed, and I was thinking of doing a giveaway for SAB anywayzso I could send some to some dude that didnt receive this in the first place...it should be fresh enough That sounds amazing! As someone who wasn't a member of SAB back when these seeds were originally spread around I have always dreamed about the opportunity to grow some of them. If this eventuates maybe I'll actually realize that dream?
Popular Post nitrogen
Here's a few of mine - my growing conditions are not good - I get 2-3 hours direct sun in the summer and no direct sunlight in the winter - lol, somehow my cacti manage to etiolate and get sunbunred at the same time - I think it's the low-horizon afternoon sun that does it - hits the side of the trichos.. Philocacti
TPMXN1 I really like this one. I was going to name it "Hydra". In the beginning of last season it totally looked like a spachinaus seedling. By the end of last it looked different with the areol formation on its monstrose parts look like scales of reptiles. I guess I'll give it a name when it matures more and it's personality is distinct
Philocacti
TPMXN1I just love this one, it's so beautifully freakish in every sense and in every stage of its development..... I just hope it keeps its monstrose form and doesn't got cristate (never thought I would say this)
mutant
Cool , if it did 2 terminations it should probably be doing more
Popular Post bogfrog
Some long overdue pics..The meagre quantities of warmth and sunlight these have received mean that growth has been slow, showing the pitfalls of growing in a not so ideal climate. But at least they are tough! Here's my favourite crest, just cause it is the cutest little plant I have ever laid eyes onTPQC x TPMSS01 x TPM (from the 2011 batch but I may as well include here)Unsure of this one's identity...sadly I thought I would remember well enough not to need labels..fail.Psych0o x TPMTPC x Multi TPQC x TPMTPM x N1
Visceral420
I LOVE this thread! So many awesome crests and mutants to drool over! I'm pretty new to growing from seed, started at the end of last year and my first lot did not go well at all..... But I learnt alot from my mistakes and my second batch are doing heaps better. I don't have any monstrose seeds yet, eagerly waiting for my first ones atm! TPM x SS02. Hopefully I get some freaks in there. Until then I shall have to keep drooling over everybody's awesome freaks! So please keep posting pics!

hostilis
Here's a big TPQC x TPM. It grows so much different on a big stock. You can see the old growth with tons of spines and growth points, but the new growth on the big stock is just one huge crest. I called this one TPQC x TPM "Broccoli"Here is a TPM x N1 Here's a different clone of TPQC x TPM. The entire crest's growth point died and turned black randomly, but it healed and started growing again with the tiny pieces of the crest that weren't dead and new pups. Not sure what this one is. I lost the label. I think it was TPC x something or other. Then here are my nitrogen's seedlings on their own roots.

Popular Post nitrogen
Connoisseur Hybrids 2015Happy happy happy, again we fly! While my plants have had less than ideal growing conditions, they have graced me with flowers this year – the TPM flowered for the first time since 2012, which means another round of mutants So, here they are, the connoisseur hybrids for 2015. This is a seed giveaway – if you’re interested in some or all of these hybrids send me a PM with your address. Have patience, it will be a several weeks before these go in the mail – and I cannot ensure everyone who PM’s me will get them. I have limited seed and priority will be given to SAB members who are older and/or who are contributors to the cacti forum. This is a celebrity group of parents here, however, the “Sharxx Blue” strain is a star of this show, in my opinion – this is the bluest, and perhaps the most distinct peruvianus I have seen. I absolutely love this strain and am so happy it flowered! Big thanks to Interbeing for sending me this magnificent plant many years ago. ***There are some additional hybrids I made this year that will be available as bonus/add-ons to orders for Zelly’s forthcoming hybrid seed. One of them is an epic bridgesii cross – Psycho0 x Lumberjackus. If you get this cross I hope you grow it out – I was hoping to see Psycho0 x N1 pics from the 2012 connoisseur hybrids but they have not materialized - I think people were so stoked on the TPM crosses that year that the bridgesii x bridgesii got overlooked. The Sharxx Blue x Psycho0 cross will also be available, and that gives us the bluest bridgesii x the bluest peruvianus in my garden. ***The 2015 hybrids for this giveaway are:1. T. bridgesii v. “Lumberjackus” x T. peruvianus v. “TPM”2. T. bridgesii v. “Psycho0” x T. peruvianus v. “TPM”3. T. peruvianus v. “Sharxx Blue” x T. peruvianus v. “TPM”4. Berengar
I think my heart just stopped there for a second... This is AMAZING!! And hell yes I want some! Btw, I tried at least 5 P0 x N1 grafts and they all failed, like they thought they would be too awesome to exist. Still have several seeds tough, will give it another try.
