nitrogen
The giveaway is now closed - everyone who has PM'd me is in, but I can't take any more people after this point..A couple of these plants - the TPC and TPM I got at this little cactus and succulent shop which has since closed down - very out of the way type place - got them before I was into acquiring the named clones and such from the forums and that

tripsis
Amazing job nitrogen! That is the first time I've seen photographic evidence of a cristate Tricho flowering. Interesting to see that it was a monstrose arm that flowered, rather than the crested part of the plant. Well done!! naja naja
indeed tripsis, also I like how it appears that mature enough crests, when they do eventually throw a monstrose arm seem to be able to flower. Most crests in propagation must not flower I rekon cause they are hacked up too frequently and propagated and not left to mature like these beauties.
Kykeion
That TPC is awesome! I love the huge crests, so much more interesting than the small fans.
nitrogen
Yah that monstrose arm is interesting - they might not be able to flower right out of the crested parts, I'm not sure.. I did not think the thing would actually flower - when I saw the first tufts of fuzz poking out the areole I was like "what's that?".. The fruit itself should be ripe very shortly - kind of bannana shaped fruit it is - has a bend in it..

alkaloidal
the TPQC looks great! Edited October 27, 2012 by alkaloidal
nitrogen
Right - the seed code! Didn't want to confuse the customs people, even though all are permitted species. It is:1 - TPM x N12 - Psycho0 x N13 - Psycho0 x TPM4 - TPM x (SS02 x pachanoi)5 - N1 x TPQC6 - (SS02 x pachanoi) x TPM7 - TPQC x TPM8 - TPC x Juules, SS02, & (SS02 x pachanoi)Hope these work out most groovaliciously for everyone involved - I had some germination issues with them to start with, but they are coming up now (super stoked!). The TPC cross has been the quickest germinator for me, but the (SS02 x pachanoi) x TPM is pretty well 100% germinated and growing strong even though nothing happened for like 4 weeks- curious to know what others find.
