satyr
Over the last days i noticed all new leaf growth on the acuminata and longifolia dried up...a closer inspection revealed those shield bugs in different maturation stages, happily sucking sap away ....removed most of them and encouraged them to MOVE ON....

ghosty
one thing i have noticed with the wonderful acaica acuminata is it's amzing ability to regrow. even unearthed roots resprout when climate is right. i have yet to see this with any other acacia. i found this with some i planted but soon found id rather have the more whispy looking burkitii growing in that certain section along a pathway. so cut them off at ground level. while on the topic of the waonderful acacia genus, does anyone have the "white thorn acacia"? i am after a specimen.
