It's not the fact that hardly any forum people applied, but the fact that the number is in such stark contrast to how many people say over the years "I'd drop everything to work there". I felt guilty for not being able to open that opportunity more often. Now that I have, it just feels weird that none of those folks were really serious it seems.

I know that the job description suits some people perfectly, including the move and the weekends.

It's all good this end though. Pretty stoked with today's candidate .... and a few yet to come. So anyone still contemplating - hurry up as time is runnning out. Should be able to decide by sunday

Only just saw this. I would definitely apply if it weren't for the weekend work. I just can't hack losing weekends. Doofing plantheads indeed. Otherwise it would be sweet. Been wanting to move to NNSW/SEQLD for a long time now and this presents a very good opportunity. Pity.
