0 Snowfella Posted June 23, 2012 I'd guess the first one is an Austrocylindropuntia pachypus, possibly somewhat crested at the top.

0 Evil Genius Posted June 23, 2012 Hi Flumsquid, i am sure the second one is a Pilosocereus. I have the very strong suspicion its Pilosocereus arrabidae but it could also be one of the lesser known ones too. Arrabidae is very similar though.
0 bogfrog Posted June 24, 2012 Nt sure of its name but I was recently given a cutting of the plant in the first picture, crested like your one. I have a suspicion its nt quite the same as this crested plant in the above photo. I have seen a big-ish specimen which grows upright like your one, with crested pups all around the top like the branches of a tree. A very nice looking plant! Grows really fast when given lots of root-space too.
