mutant Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) update, sorry shitty pic I was wondering If I should add some soil , let it pump and then uncover again... well its a pretty hardy 'bonzai' , and interesting. dont know if its technically right to call this a bonzai. I friend has done this with a huge mandrake he got. awesome! hey where is all the delosperma and co flowers and all? cheers, this thread is awesome, albeit a bit photo heavy PS/edit: note for the artist>> the picture with all its detail helps to plan ahead Edited February 17, 2014 by mutant
mutant Posted February 22, 2014 one on the right is the one of the previous post which I covered a bit with soil. the middle one is the one that I was wondering if I should un-cover, which I did, and the right one is a neglected one I found which seems to have a pretty awesome root shape.
mutant Posted December 21, 2014 even if I am not getting many responses here's another attempt on a bonzai with one un-identified plant of the family of mesembs. should note the possibility that when you up root the delosperma bossaranum, it might be more prone to mealies and possibly a source of mealies. Regular pruning seems to keep it under control.
