I chopped a couple of parts of the mother, and let them sit horizontally scorss a pot lip to callous up. Took too long to get them into soil, and the tips started drooping downwards. One of those two I'm going to keep trying to manipulate the shape of, see how unusual I can get it to grow. In 12 months I may well have a rare zig-zag-growing pachanot. Any image that MAY offend someone's workmates or be inappropriate for their children is to be protected. Psylo has shown how to do this in a post if you can't mark the thread, so look at his post near the top of this thread. I removed the other image for the same reason. if it has been by itself I may have left it, but I am sick of reptyle trying I don't know if there is a way to put things into the gallery wihtout them showing on the preview strip. I will have a look into it, but I doubt it. I thought I saw a setting during the upload process that said 'private', which may do that, but maybe I am imagining things. Distracted Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) education is loosely related to intelligence. think of education as more like exposure to experiences, some of which they are suggesting you may not have been experienced to much in your life. I'm not suggesting either way, just attempting to clarify what i think they meant. the private option is a folder setting, i just tested it and uploaded a photo. It appears in my imagefeed and would appear to moderators... but i don't know if you guys can see it. edit: apparently it works cept it would still appear to the moderators Does this image appear to anyone? I don't have kids, my office is private, and my partner is unlikely to get upset by porn [although he drew the line at donkeys], so for me it is actually difficult to keep on the lookout for things that might cause problems to someone who might be surfing at the nationalparty campaign office computer. I should probably expain the donkey comment before people get the wrong idea of my browsing habits. Friend of mine runs the Byron Bay Film Festival and during the submisison period there were LOTS of films to research so she posted a few things on FB for her friends to look up so we can help out. one of these was about a south american rural area where it is customary for young men to practice on donkeys before getting stuck into the real thing. Turns out there isn't just one but two documentaries on this tradition yet after a couple of hours of donkey sex browsing I am still not convinced this isn't just an internet hoax. So members could create private folders for such purposes. May I remind though that any folder that contains rateable images and is not marked as *NSFW* will be deleted. It is up to the member to ensure that any image to someone browsing is protected BEFORE the member gets to it, regardless of how this might happen. I am not sure where your private image is and it might just be completely private. There seems to be no difference between a member profile and admin profile when looking at your gallery. All I get is 3 main galleries, with 1, 2 and 0 images in them. However ther eis also a 'child album' in your mushroom album that's named 'distracteds cacti' which is the same name as your cactus album. I wasn't going to respond after you quoted this the first time because I thought you were just being difficult, but perhaps you really don't understand the point I was trying to make. I thought I made it clear in that post that I wasn't trying to insult you by saying that it comes across as a lack of education. I never made a comment about your intelligence, and I'm sure you're very bright. There is a big difference between education and intelligence, and in the context, I thought it would be clear that I meant you don't seem to have had a strong education in art. No biggie. You might have a doctorate in something else for all I know, but it's irrelevant to my point. I personally haven't studied art beyond yr12, but I've been exposed to art from a very young age because my Dad is an artist and he has friends who are artists and he has books about art and watches programs about art. My point was that there's nothing new about what reptyle posted. I still think it's brave and meaningful regardless of whether its unique or not, but the simple point that I was trying to make in many fewer words earlier, is that people who have been exposed to art, educated on the matter, simply don't have such kneejerk responses. It doesn't mean they will like it, but they sure as hell will tell you the 101 reasons why they don't like it because they've discussed all this shit before with other artists, be it in classes or late at night over a few beers. While this is a good feature I don't think it would help in reptyle's case as he wants to build an album of nudity that members can access, but without it being forced on them.
