Anyone got any absinthe seed or cuttings they want to trade/sell?

Check your local nursery or even the nursery section of large hardware chains like Bunnings or Hardware House. $3 for a 4inch pot.

In Melbourne at least it was more common to find A. arborescens than A. absinthium in nurseries. However it is quite likely they are of similar chemistry/properties.

Strangely I've not seen the tree Wormwood in nurseries though see it growing in many peoples yards. "Herb Herbert's" apparently sell both though I"ve only seen stock of absinth at shops.

There is amother species around perth i forget the species name but its the roman wormwood.. species begins with a 'P'

I'm trouble germinating them. They come up (not alot of them) and then proceed to die after a few weeks.

Any special requirements they need that might not be so obvious.

Using seed raising mix in a punnet/egg carton and peat balls(pots) (used to germinate and transplant root sensitive plants).

I haven't had any luck at all growing Artemesias from seed. Very easy to grow from cuttings though.
