0 Chef Posted February 1, 2012 ^^These are the ones in my garden.. the monstrose(in my garden dosent have no where near as long spike as the above found^^ and the other one is the "regular cereus" in my garden
0 chilli Posted February 1, 2012 I've seen them with longer and shorter spines, probably different growing conditions. If it isn't a C. peruvianus monstrose I have no idea what one is.
0 Evil Genius Posted February 1, 2012 Remarkable Spines. But still a monstrose Cereus. There are a few diffrent types around. The Enviroment and the Age has great influence on the size of the spines. bye Eg
0 amanito Posted February 1, 2012 I really, and I think I'm speaking for all of us, want to hear about that river.
0 The_Crack_Fox Posted February 1, 2012 Some poor dope fiend probably thought "maybe I should go for a swim" And decided to bring his cacti, to protect him from a strange herd of aqua-moose. Unfortunatley, he sunk like a god damned stone, but the wise plants had a dlfferent plan..
0 ∂an Posted February 1, 2012 if you really did find them in a river, i'm guessing someone ditched their booty after a snap and run...
0 PhoenixSon Posted February 1, 2012 T.pachanoi in this first couple of pics, good find!
0 Amazonian Posted February 1, 2012 You just wanted to show us your well mainicured toes, didnt you chef !
0 CβL Posted February 1, 2012 You didn't specifically deny putting them into the river before finding them there. I think the evidence speaks loud and clear about who the culprit is... huhuhuhu
0 Stillman Posted February 1, 2012 Someones going to be missing that much PC unless it came from a pretty established plant. My Brother in law is a tree lopper and they were cleaning up a yard for some people that wanted all of the garden cleared to put a pool in, the vandals. They had some six foot tall pachanoi in the yard two plants apparently, that they wanted gone, so he stumped them and put all the lengths in the truck and went for a lunch break, when he came back the new guy had put them through the chipper. lol I heard there was much bad vibes hahahah Were these growing by the river or was floating in it and was it a big beast? It is an excellent find.
0 Chef Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) wa s a very big plant but i was tolled that PC pach is not as desirable? dosent worry me, these are awsome cuts .. i bet ya brother wasent too impressed hahaha geez that would suck edit: added the brother bit Edited February 1, 2012 by Chef_
0 ballzac Posted February 2, 2012 If you must rip bits of random plants you find, you might want to take a blade next time and cut it off cleanly. Snapping them like that bruises the flesh, increasing the chance of rot, and the uneven surface can trap water and support the growth of mould. Whoever actually owns and/or maintains the plant will be pissed of that bits have been ripped off, but they'll be even more pissed off if its health is deteriorating due to the way it's been done. 0 Chef Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) one.. wasent stolen.. they were given to me two.. they will be cut and set up for calousing with sulphur three.. the person who gave it to me was moving and the 'mother' plant was too big to cut out so he offered some nice arms. he came here i didnt go there edit- spelling Edited February 2, 2012 by Chef_
0 ballzac Posted February 2, 2012 one.. wasent stolen.. I never said you "stole" it. I said you "found" it, which is exactly what you said before you edited the title. Suddenly it's gone from you finding it in a river, to someone bringing pieces from their mother plant to you. To be honest though, snapped off pieces like that stink of someone trying to quickly and quietly grab a few pieces from someone's yard. I mean, who the fuck snaps bits off their own plant like that? 0 Chef Posted February 2, 2012 i changed the tittle because you and now others will get the wrong idea so i was going to try and avoid people ^^like this attacking me.. this isnt the bitch and gripe thread.. to tell you the truth i had never known of trichocereus cacti untill i was on this forum!! and if you didnt read it before.. they are moving.. would you like me to have the thread deleted balzac? just for you? there is no need to be smart or aggressive
0 curaezipirid Posted February 2, 2012 Don't let me believe, (as a "newbie" as newcomers have to get to be), that these are forums working like a paupers of San Pedro version of the Dutch flicks in youtube, of top ten varieties of cannabis species. But I love the look of the squiggly one, and wonder if it inspires squiggly minded processing of idea.
0 curaezipirid Posted February 2, 2012 might as well be the Aliens as a babe floating down a river who provided, huh!

If I had time this morning I would have posted the same sort of post that ballzac did as I was assuming that the pieces had been nicked. Don’t take this the wrong way I am trying to explain how your thread read before it was changed Cheers Got
0 tipz Posted February 2, 2012 Its ok ! Cheffy got lucky ! It just so happens that last night I cut some of my much loved pach logs and sent them floating down a river. Cause im crazy like that. OK... cereusly, cheffy - are you for real man, I truly hope you didnt thieve those babies ! because karma is truly a byatch ! I have a pretty good bullshit metre bro... and it's almost close to redlining ATM. Ill let this one go on the %3.8 chance you really did not rip them off... And im a gambling man
0 Evil Genius Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) Alright, river has been discussed properly and im sure he learned his lesson that people here are retired fbi and cia detectives what makes every lie almost pointless now please cut him some slack. People dont tell the truth sometimes because they have their reasons. Doesnt have to be stolen; some things just arent of anybodys business and i respect that. Dont make him burn the cacti, guys. And dont laugh chef, i´ve already seen that happening here... Edited February 2, 2012 by Evil Genius
