Meet sounds great

We used to have regular meets years ago in King's Park, unfortunately it was not a great venue in the long run, as the park staff informed us we were not allowed to bring any plants or soil into the park.

They have a lot of problems with Phytophthora and Armillaria there and are very strict about it.

Great spot for a meet and a picnic but not for a plant exchange.

good point occidentalis. It would be good to find a park that we can bring trades to. Ill have a look around for a prime central spot. you got any other spots in mind oxy?

Lake leschenaultia would be good for me :) but probably not the most central location. Wherever it is, I like the idea & am looking forward to it :)

south perth foreshore is a good location, plenty of free parking and secluded areas, plus it's central.

this would be my first choice and would love to attend if i am available on the day

Yeah that would be great to have monthly meets as those who can't make it on a certain date only have to wait 4wks for the next! I am absolutely DYING to have a meet up with all west coasters as my group of mates down this way couldn't give a rats ass about plants, shamanism etc.. So I have NOBODY to talk to outside of this forum! So I will most definitely make it to where ever the meet may be held, as I can then unleash the fury and go haywire talking about entheogenic plants and the likes and actually get some fucking feedback/interest for once!!

That wasnt really central, shit parking and was crowded. The South Perth foreshore near the narrows seems ideal

ill be starting an annual meet thread soon

I think it would be a great idea to aim for 2 meets a year.

South Perth sounds like a winner.

2 meets a year??? im going for a monthly one. Just an Ethno meet, not trade days as such. Oxy's meet is gonna be more of a big trade day id say?

My thinking was 2 fixed big days or w.e

Smaller meets might do better local as i know how spread out we all are.

Haha that would make the masons happy. A bunch of plant heads on their turf. Nice one.

Good point occidentalis, looks like Kings Park is out.

South Perth foreshore sounds like a better option then!

I'm not attached to the 28/29th, if you can't make it throw up a day that works for you!

yeah the doof is near balingup :) A camp sounds awesome!!! Oxy just proposed the same idea. Yous could always have your own little meets as i think there is about 6 members down that way. Im down there quite a bit as well. Great idea Oxy, people put up dates that suits you
