I grafted a few Trichocereus scopulicola x T. terscheckii as you can see. Bought in Sept 2016 from a Dutch outfit, Succulent Corner, good size but had very little root - I wonder if it was once grafted but had outgrown its stock. Grew hugely throughout 2017 - had to smash the pot to get it out - didn´t want to risk damaging this exceptional plant - found great root growth as well. Came home today to find this, put a couple holes in the side and watched 60L+ piss out Only two labels came out (Murray Bridge Cuzco and a Psycho0 x TPM) so that was an upside. This one is another Trichocereus scopulicola x T. terscheckii. These seedlings are phat and fat. I would be tickled pink if even one was 1/2 as thick as its daddy when it grows up. Give it a bit and if it only grows bigger without pupping you can always graft onto your graft making a step graft as it were. Definitely no need to remove a successful graft regardless of whether it pups or not in my book. Congrats on your graft by the way! You certainly don't want to simply toss your first graft. I learn from my grafts as I watch them grow or falter. I expect you will as well if you pay attention to your successes and failures over time. Your message that said perhaps hit it with BAP. Since it doesn't have areoles, is there anywhere on the segment I should aim for? Thnaks for the input!
