What did you do to your cacti today?

Recommended Posts

I pulled out all the pc stumps from the ground to make way for some new clones. Put in cuts of super pedro, roseii 1 & 2, fields pach, yowie, psycho0, rob, bogan, melty bridge, red spined Peru...

I didn't do anything to my cacti today, but I did help a friend whom I haven't seen in a while organise some of theirs. Here's a few highlights from my visit.

Unknown peruvianoid...? (not sure if it's worth starting an ID thread for this one, but if anyone thinks it looks like something they know I'd love to hear).

The post man just dropped off a box full of Pereskiopsis. These were a bit pricey i must admit but i am super keen to get grafts happening. But also to my surprise they threw in a bunch of seed into the package. Not just any seed mind you but awesome strains and crosses I dont yet have. So stoked 1f642.png

its some sort of marketing promotion, the idea being, if your seeing the letter around the wrong way you must be tired, encouraging you to reverse your temporary dyslexic moment by drinking iced coffee. Not that i need any extra encouragement. As i sat in the back yard last week and cut up 200 dares bottles for this seasons gardening i did start to think, maybe ive got a problem.

Here is todays grafting efforts, 9 month old star astrophytum seedlings as scions

Nice work Change

I love the recycling! I know all about the ice coffee addiction... Try a Murrumbidgee Dairy Products Ice coffee if you can get your hands on it? they are the shiz nit.

I must admit i only do the occasional now.

Mate can i ask? how did you find star astro? Are the seedlings looking true to form?
