Picked up about 30 feet of PC pachanoi, several rooted out T. brevispinus plants, a T. Tacquirenais cutting, and two myrtilio pups for damn near nothing.

Indian Comb Cactus.

Trichocereus brevispinulosus.

Here's a little bit better shot of what I have available for trade. And I went ahead and cut the pups off of the rooted sections for ease of shipping, and/or planting out. Definitely a cool looking plant.

:P there's a thread for that kind of thing ...

-straightened up in the cactery and created some targets for some new trichogun/slicer's that will also probably get here before any virola seeds might ..

potted on an aloe to an 11l plastic pot and kissed goodbye to the last terracotta pot i will be using ... hope the door doesnt hit it in the arse on the way out ..

extracted all the farty little echinopsis to the "somewhere else" section , .. mainly the windowsills

and worked out a way to have yet even more cacties per square metre :3

i wonder just how far they can be squeezed in... until thar be zero room left ?

could've sworn i was about to decide to quit collecting them :scratchhead:

i guess, with things like the cactus faerie ,... you gotta be careful what you wish for

Love your setup Thunder, but how do you explain it to guests? I get enough awkward questions and phallus jokes and my cacti are all outside.

Nice one, which clone is that?

Yes, uno.

What will happen in the upcoming growing season? Will they move to accommodate each other or will pressure keep building until the base splits?

Yes, uno.

beautiful clone 1 is , a true big daddy cool ! - i can't wait to grow that one ! Well scored me olde china!

but in initial quote to ya : my aunt once told the phallus joke lol - was a first and last for me, the cops think they look stunning!, the old crabby social worker my mum threw at us thought they were ok because they were the kid's idea and as a result they were rescued from my mum for a bit before i could get them back with the cops...but she wanted to know them all in order to check they were legal once i had got them back (but not while they were at my mum's) , which of course, they all are legal.. ,

the new nice soc' worker can feel the proximity healing energy without knowing it and just says "it feels really relaxing sitting in here looking at them" :) and here fellow sidekick wants us to carry on with the orchid and cactus pots startup on ebay like we were going to back at my mum's before all hell broke loose,.. my mates think they look nice and love my whacky set-ups and out of the box thinking.. ummm , nobody else sees them cept you guys and recently a few at STS and figured i'd throw a couple of pics out on facebook , the first reply made my whole week! ; "damn son your collection be fly!" -

so all in all most seem to think it's nice :) , even my mum did before she got trolled by my RHS student sister into thinking they were all poisons n shit.. but some folk are really dumb over here :) even with that sorta accolade ..

royal hulticultural society eh? royal horse shit subduing initial intentions more like

give me david bellamy over david attenburgh any day

erm but yeah , in the past, all my mums neighbours (my grandparents old neighbours) adored them and really cherished the ones I gifted to them .. , pasacanas and echinopsis mainly ..

and a few others i never knew names of ..

they used to come to the garden when my grandparents grew so much fruit and veg and shared with all the neighbours.. i gather those days were the good ones? - so they would just walk in and natter to me while i was pottering about, sharing gardening tips, reminiscing my gramps .. (who were the ones that really raised me ) -especially when the olde bag went away (which she did all the time)..

would often help them with their gardens and pond building.. and theyd supply me with as much garden clippings for mulch as i could use... - was the largest garden in the estate - my gramps wr 1st customers to the place and avid gardeners so bought the 1 acre plot cuz it was the same price as everyone elses back then in the 60s... and they wrked it well for decades to make the soil fkn perfect! - even used it in aquariums before :)

anticipated the arrival of 4 cactulas that are labelled werdemannianus .. from one of the only 2 decent uk cateries..

on the shop site they looked very terscheckley but with red twinges at the bases of the spines..

I wonder how these will look when they arrive and what folk think of their ID / labels ? ...

anticipated the arrival of some trichogun slicers ..

went forward in time and added 2 huge taquimboes to the cacterie for the "operation taquimbo" thread ,

in the near but not too distant future..

also anticipating another taquimbo from a cool SABber
