etherealdrifter Posted August 24, 2011 (edited) nownow, just because Thomas Edulis inventerd electricity, that doesnt mean anything to cat response times when you call him/her edit^meowmeow, really i mean meow meow Edited August 24, 2011 by etherealdrifter
Distracted Posted August 24, 2011 (edited) I was gonna call my cat AnusBeard but my housemates at the time didn't think it was a good idea, so instead he's called Trip. My last cat's name was AnnYong. I like the names Fish and Frog for cats too. Ideally when naming an animal the name should have two syllables, apparently it's easier for them to recognise their own name that way. edit: Thomas Edulis? :/ Edited August 24, 2011 by Distracted

bogfrog Posted August 24, 2011 what an awesome looking cat! very fluffy! i particularly liked etherealdrifter's suggestion of Tuffy MacFuffpants, but i am also a big fan of stereotypical human names for cats. i called my cat tea bag originally, then it morphed into many other imaginative nicknames. i think he/she looks like a Zeusy Poosey, maybe just Poosey if shes a she lol
FancyPants Posted August 25, 2011 ^^^ Hah yeah I called my cat Ugly (because she's adorable), but I never call her that. She just gets all kinds of nicknames; puddy, woody, moody, midge, minge... Also, my parents have a (big boofy mountain purebred) cattle dog called Zeus. What about Pingu for a black and white cat?
bogfrog Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) tea bag turned to tea bog, then bog frog, boggit, bog, bag, wee bag, boggy, boggy woggy etc etc, i sing alot of songs about her pingu is a great name! a friend of my dads used to have a naughty dog called Fire! and it would run away lots so he would often find himself wandering the streets shouting 'FIRE! FIRE!' Edited August 25, 2011 by bogfrog
