Khala Posted July 4, 2011 Just some cool mushies. I can't identify any of them, no actives I am sure. I recognise the stinkhorn. There were 150-250 of these around. They do create quite a pungent odour, I almost got sick of seeing them whilst walking through the bark. Enjoy!
solomon Posted July 4, 2011 First and last are Stinkhorns. An Aseroe species. You usually smell them before you see them Sorry I can't help you with the other IDs

Amazonian Posted July 4, 2011 A cocktail of shit and rotting meat. ^ If thats what a stinkhorn smells like, then i would liken it to a non-vego fart ! Gross. Sounds like it would be good as a tool for revenge.... Under someones bed or car seat

Distracted Posted July 5, 2011 ^ If thats what a stinkhorn smells like, then i would liken it to a non-vego fart ! Gross. Sounds like it would be good as a tool for revenge.... Under someones bed or car seat Non vego farts smell worse? Ok. As far as i know stinkhorns pretty much 'hatch' from an 'egg' grown by the mycelium. If you're able to find this 'egg' you can transplant it wherever you want and the mushroom will fruit from it. So yeah, plenty of pranks to be had with this Genera. I didn't learn this from practical experience, just from reading books.
