I would say that they are the goods ubza. . They appear to have bruised blue.. yes? What are you looking at the spores on ? White paper works best IMO.

ya found this sucker today. Yup thats blue bruising. I took a spore print on plain white paper, then later in the day, bearied it under some wood chips under some pine and gum trees. The guide for dummies here said thats a good place to look so seems like a good place to plant them. Prob wont work but what the hey, i'll check them in a month anyway :)

Delicious! Figuratively speaking of course.

Chocolate brown spores? That's rather odd, they should be deep purple/black, the only psilocybes I know of that have different coloured spores are cube cultivars, PF Redspore and Albino, not that I know every psilocybe out there or anything

I'd love a picture of one of these chocolate brown spores...

I find that the purple can look brown under some lighting conditions. They're always very dark though. If he had've said "rust brown" I'd be more curious.

Yeah rusty cinnamon would worry me but chocolate brown just intrigues me.

Once colour corrected it looks perfectly normal :)

Alfoil is actually a really good medium to print on as it will clearly ahow both the light and dark spectrum of spores, that and you can fold it up after and keep the print.

Cheers
