ID sought by a newbie

Hello all,

It was suggested to me that, as a newbie, I might like to get myself a cactus or three

Not the most creative start perhaps, but I called via Bunnings this morning and saw the attached.

The price ($27 for some little ceramic pot with some other succulents) was enough to keep me looking, but I'm hoping for an ID to see if I'm on the right track.

Looks like a cactus, but its hard to be sure.

I agree, they make great grafting stock

it certainly matches images with that name!

looks like its got mealybugs too.

you want to get those knocked down quick before they spread to the rest of your plants.

And it's always a good idea to quarantine any new acquisitions for a few days while you check them out for bugs & insects.

Hmmm I think I both got a polaskia and a steno and this looks more like a steno. Cool I did not remember it was griseus
