Freakin sweet/undamged plant!

I think cereus of some sort too, black spines and blueness is unusual, although I have seen the blue in Cereus caesius

you're right bit, it might not be C.peruvianus due to black spines both in old and new growth

Im having trouble just taking cuts for myself, its hard to cut up a full plant and not leave it looking cut up.

Im gunna let it settle and maybe take a few cuts around september.

I will make it known if cuts or plants are available.

cool, its waay different to my Cereus monstosus which has suddenly put out new growth after planting it a year or more ago.. but now its not holding back , i think they just take a while to set roots and get going, yours seems semi monstrose , kinda knobbly , i likey alot.

I found one like this at my aunt's house, pretty sure its a c. peruvianus monstrose. It's at least a meter tall! I plan on taking some cuttings the next time I'm over there, overall a very cool cactus.

She got it from her husband's brother, who got it from a coworker as a gift. He apparently hated it and tried to kill it by leaving it under a table somewhere. Its much happier now.

I'm assuming root as one normally would?

I have seen this one called The knobby monstrose form but the spines look like Cereus aethiops

yeah i too was wondering about C.aethiops.

it would seem most cereus monstrose develop a similar growth pattern and we all instantly see c.peruvianus

but i'd love a piece to add to the monster collection just the same.
