CHEAP PRESTO PRESSURE COOKERS

Recommended Posts

I've done both, and gloveboxes don't belong in the same conversation as hoods.

I'd reccomend you keep operating in open air if it's working for you. :wink:B)

Gloveboxes are the absolute pits. :puke:

Glove boxes can be a pain in the donkey but they definitely have their place.

Taking wild clones & retrieving contaminated cultures for example where you don't want 10 trillion sticky trich spores in your laminar & every crevice in the room.

I still use mine when i've been playing around with spores and the like & i may be forced to go back to using it full time for a while if the rains don't back off soon.

This isn't mine but how I started, though I cut the right glove into the right side rather than the front.Worst thing was craning over it,size obviously and chasing the damn thing across the bench LOL

This is my current one,I've since fitted a 24 LED light to the inside of the lid and some felt pads underneath for strength so the base doesn't bow under weight.

Now:

This is big enough for me atm and quite easy to move around in.

That's a really tidy unit you've built there Mescalito :worship:

What exactly are the green gloves you've used?

I've got some top gloves here that'd be perfect for a glove box if you're looking for some.

They're out of a hazmat unit (unused). :worship:

I'll see how the agar works out in open air before I use one, if agar contaminates on me then that will be the turning point, but yeah - I can imagine how working like that would suck.

Building a small flow hood seems to be the best option albeit a bit fiddly.
