del Posted May 21, 2010 Hi, yep I got it, just could not resist. I justified it by the fact that I have sold enough cacti cuttings and crappy old music equipment over the last two years or so to pay for it. and im such a tight arse. I never buy anything, except from op shops (so trendy yet so economical So in a way my cacti problem is feeding my cacti problem. Its a vicious cycle! I may look like a hobo but my cacti dont! cheers del
incognito Posted May 21, 2010 whats peoples thoughts about this witches broom infected cut? t.peruvianus?> i certainly hope so! i think we should mesg the seller (hamiltons?) to certify its genetic origins.

incognito Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) mate closer to 300. pd, wt and i went 3rds i bid on a mrtillo 'breast' cactus last week. went for $114. im kinda glad i lost, but still..a good investment if u have the coin. Edited May 21, 2010 by incognito
abelardo Posted May 24, 2010 Yeah well done for winning the bid on #2. I bid up to $120 the night before and was blown away when I saw the finishing price at work the next day. I guess the $200 I paid last year for a variegated icaro peruvian from Darren @ Herbalistics has been and will continue to be worth it... It's that one in a thousand that makes them so valuable and desirable! How many seedlings must this seller have germinated to get 2 cristate specimens or is there a trick to it? tripsis Posted May 24, 2010 $300?! Fuck! That is crazy. Still, if it is a T. peruvianus crest, and you'd want it to be, then it's pretty awesome. Can't imagine cuts of it going to easily in the future when that was the initial cost! Still, put me in the waiting line.

.dg Posted May 25, 2010 fuken oath and at $100- me 2!! will be worth it. hopefully crestate growth would intensify alk production? possibly, yes. but, they grow so slow, other clones will kick out lots more alkaloids "per capita"
