The left single one came as peruvianus and the middle two ones as pachanoi, but I'm suspecting maybe it's vice versa updates from outsdide garden Edited June 15, 2010 by mutant

mutant Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) Updates! I found 4 lopho wil var caespitosa as it seems in local nursery. 2 euros each ! another sign this selinicereus is a killer stock. faster than pere from me. this fucker is trying to set a bud! This is at about a year. Is this often with astro from seed? fero emoryi fero latispinus views of cactus garden bridgesi and myrti fence . it'a steep gap further on. butterfly feeding harissia budding a newly transplanted plant this occured after some time of no watering ;) and a non succulent. my turbina has definately choked an argyreia vine lying somewhere under. turbina seems a ferfect choice for a pergkola, but it creates LOTS of leaf litter. Having a compost-maker surely seems a must for a turbina growers. I still don't have one. Edited July 18, 2010 by mutant

GoOnThen Posted April 16, 2011 Mutant once again you have inspired me with your beautiful plants and photos. What a great spot you have set up on your roof you must love sitting up there with your plants. Could you tell me how old are your big Ferocactus are and were they originally grafted. You also mention Selenicereus as a fast grafting stock are you using grandiflorus or another variety. Cheers Got
mutant Posted April 16, 2011 (edited) hey thanks dude no ferocactus was grafted and I have most of them for 2 years most. Which one do you mean in particular? If you mean the biggy one [F.emoryi] in the ground with the other feros, I think it must me some 12-15 y.o. , maybe more, that's an estimation mind you I am not sure the species of Selinicereus, I think it's grandiflorus though... Many are budding including some of my recently acquired sulcorebutias, which stayed dry through winter and seem to have loved it and have several buds each.
