Your 'some beautiful succulent' I think may be a Haworthia.

Is the Aussie clone Gnosis?

Nice pics again

wow inco it seems the flowering really got ya, huh ? :drool2:

edit..i seriously want to root that gymno in he bottom half of ur last pic post. what var is it?

which one do you mean?

if you mean the one flowering its a it's a G.occultum hybrid [from occultum mom]

I also got some more like these on pere which did't make it to flowering like the one grafted on selinicereus

P1020130.jpg

this is sweet too

P1020201.jpg

P1020199.jpg

four species... what do you make of these pachanoi/peruvianoid seedling ? or is too early to tell? the other two are terscheckii & wendermanianus...

The left single one came as peruvianus and the middle two ones as pachanoi, but I'm suspecting maybe it's vice versa

harissia budding :) a newly transplanted plant this occured after some time of no watering ;)

and a non succulent. my turbina has definately choked an argyreia vine lying somewhere under. turbina seems a ferfect choice for a pergkola, but it creates LOTS of leaf litter. Having a compost-maker surely seems a must for a turbina growers. I still don't have one.

Mutant once again you have inspired me with your beautiful plants and photos.

What a great spot you have set up on your roof you must love sitting up there with your plants.

Could you tell me how old are your big Ferocactus are and were they originally grafted.

You also mention Selenicereus as a fast grafting stock are you using grandiflorus or another variety.

Cheers

hey thanks dude

no ferocactus was grafted and I have most of them for 2 years most. Which one do you mean in particular? If you mean the biggy one [F.emoryi] in the ground with the other feros, I think it must me some 12-15 y.o. , maybe more, that's an estimation mind you

I am not sure the species of Selinicereus, I think it's grandiflorus though...

very lovely collection i never bother too much with mesembrianthemums but after seeing your pics i will be keeping my eyes peeled for them.

must be good to have two gardens, one rooftop, one more natural habitat. bit of variation is always nice.

10 points!

lol, thanks for the good words mate.

Expect a flower shower next days. Many are budding including some of my recently acquired sulcorebutias, which stayed dry through winter and seem to have loved it and have several buds each.
