I did not find this plant analgesic at all when prepared. It felt somewhat toxic to me. I have heard this plant is popular among certain 'elite' circles and there is reserach on it being able to slow the progression of Cancer & Aids. There may be residiual harm to healthy cells & the body also however. This one doesn't seem to me to be a good candidate for pain. Any experiences using it for pain? The alkaloids do not look too special for analgesia. What we want is salutaridine & reticuline.
