Ace Posted November 19, 2009 (edited) Jill Of The Jungle!! How could I have forgotten! Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage Sonic The Hedgehog Mighty Max Test Match Cricket Dr Dreadful Mortal Kombat Wolfenstein Battleship Thunderbirds. I remember the old show when I was tiny - man was it creepy seeing these puppet things going on missions, going underwater, etc. All with the little strings being so obvious. Don't know why, but these dudes were just creepy as hell... Edited November 19, 2009 by Ace

reshroomED Posted November 21, 2009 What a blast from the past, said in an Wolfman Jack overtone. Ker-fucking-plunk, sea-monkeys, too many others to mention individually. Tried four times to upload various vids so have to settle for a still. more to come, I'm now too busy researching some of this stuff. FWIW, I recently found a nintendo NES (I think) and a Sega Master System II (again, not positive, same vintage as nintendo and has a built-in game Sonic the hedgehog from memory). Used as entertainment for guests kids so not in too flash condition, gamepad broken but still operational on Sega. Anyways, of no use to me, so if any old-game freaks would like they're yours for cost of postage (from 3250 VIC) ed
incognito Posted November 21, 2009 (edited) geez u guys are cool cats!!! i LOVED kimba the white lion around the time of kimba the white lion was another awesome cartoon series(on channel 8 or 'prime'). for the life of me i cant remember the name.. 'the changeling'? or somthing like that.something starting with c. was quite a serious and deep cartoon, about a boy living on a farm in the country somewhere in america. was quite a deep and spiritual show to my mind back then, and i was often quite moved by the show. im gonna keep thinkin bout this till i remember now... i know he had a pet deer which his dad always wanted to kill to eat.. damnit!!! read why mossman was so awesome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moss_Man slime was always a favourite for threatening my sisters magic sand always did my head in, like i really had something magical Edited November 21, 2009 by incognito

reshroomED Posted November 21, 2009 (edited) geez u guys are cool cats!!!i LOVED kimba the white lion Mate, Kimba was the best I was in a Sunday market once (broke) and what did I see but black singlets with "Who's the bravest animal in Africa?" around Kimba with raised paw (rampant, height to the dexter? anyone into heraldry?) and "KIMBA THE WHITE LION IS THE ONE" across the back. The *only* item of clothing I've ever seen and WANTED.. Which has made me think. Reckon something must be sortable for under thirty bucks. I'm gonna get one at last, you fucking beauty. EG, for this alone I'd bear your children (or do my best to) I'll post results for any other Kimba-freaks. im gonna keep thinkin bout this till i remember now...i know he had a pet deer which his dad always wanted to kill to eat.. damnit!!! That ring's a bell Was there an international spy-ring involved? And what about Gigantor ed Edited November 22, 2009 by reshroomED

reshroomED Posted November 21, 2009 (edited) Cant forget these guys they were usually on after KIMBA during Xmas holidays Tra-La-La, La-La-La-La Tra-La-La, La-La-La-La One banana, two banana, three banana, four. Four Bananas make a bunch and so do many more. Over hill and highway the banana buggies go. Comin' on to bring you the Banana Splits Show and that's all I can remember unfortunately what about (from memory so syntax errors may occur) "On top of old Horror Hill, in a secret laboratory, Professor Weirdo and Count Cook were in their monstrous glory. Three drops of the Essence of Terror, two drops of Sinister Sauce When the stirring's done may I lick the spoon Of course, ahah, of course! And now for a touch of tenderness, but I must use only a touch, For without a touch of Tenderness he might destroy me! Woops, too much Better hold your head, it's starting to tick, Better hoold my hand I'm feeling sick. Hello Dadda, I'm Milton, your brand new son." I can do Mr Ed (of course of course) and half-a-dozen others too. Trying to recall the good ones What a fucking trip. This thread is better than 99.8% of all psychedelics. FWIW Kimba (or any pic for that matter) colour prints on front and back of t-shirt/singlet are readily custom-madeable on-line for less than $30. Once I edit some images and get one made I'll post a pic. ed Edited November 21, 2009 by reshroomED

incognito Posted November 21, 2009 (edited) i love u EG! stinkor was another fave!!!! we should have a masters of the universe reunion! sit back blurt doobies and wath the full series. i loved the fact that he-man always had his moral lesson at the end of the show. i had a just about complete collection of MOTU. snake men, evil horde all skeletors boys and he-mans possee. had all the castles, machinery and vehicles, kept them in mint condition to in a wooden chest. i lived for that show!!! when i left home mum gave them all to my nephews, who swapped heads and arms and left them all over the farm to get trashed. i almost cried. lets not forget the A-Team. all the kids on my street would take turns watching a-team at each others houses. pop corn and red cordial was the score. good times.: ) Edited November 21, 2009 by incognito

Evil Genius Posted November 21, 2009 (edited) we should have a masters of the universe reunion! sit back blurt doobies and wath the full series. yeah man sounds like great fun. I take my Masters Toys with me when i emmigrate... I collected them for a long time and i still have some of them that are unpunched and still in the box. You´d love them nito! i loved the fact that he-man always had his moral lesson at the end of the show. Totally! Thats the difference between MOTU and some nowadays shows. If He-Man kicked some ass, it always had an important moralic reason! In all seriousness, if you or any of your family were to visit Oz, I'd be honoured to look after them to the best of my abilities. Thats a very kind offer Ed! I greatly appreciate that! Well, atm im seriously considering to emmigrate during the next 3-5 years. If i should be forced to sell my property in germany due to the financial crisis im having right now, germany can kiss my ass big time. Seriously. Maybe i´ll suprise yall guys at the EGA one day! Thats Mer-Man! They used the same figure for that one but with a diffrent color! I even like this color better than the one they used for stinkor!
