Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Hi Guys, time to show some of the toys that you had when you were young! God i miss those times.... Mario 3. It was one of the games that i played on and on and on. Masters of the Universe. Full of lead paint but best Toy Series ever. Spydor was my favourite! That Spider looks so cool Starcom. I still like these magnetic toys. They werent as expensive as MOTU and STAR WARS and thats why i ended up with a Starcom Spacestation- Mask. Nice stuff but a weak TV Series. yeah. Back in the days, It was THE game to have. You never ran out of friends if you had that one at home. Show some of yours...i love nostalgia! Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 Nice ballzac! I hope that you dont plan on throwing it away! Old consoles are way too cool for the trashcan! In a few years, when there are only a few o fthem left, im sure there will be people who are willing to spend lots of money for Consoles they were playing with during their childhood. I still have a Super NES, some game boys, an N64, a Sega Dreamcast and a Playstation! Unfortuntately i sold the NES which was the coolest of them all. Sega had great hardware too but unfortunately the good games were from Nintendo. Well, apart from Sonic and Mega Man.

Still regret throwing out my mega drive and mega CD a few years ago. I don't think anyone will be paying much unless they're in mint condition though. I've still got my Dreamcast. IMO the best controller ever, and it had a few good games. The master system had some great games in my opinion. Alex Kidd in Miracle world was great, as was wonder boy and sonic. Also had 3D glasses that could plug into the card slot.
Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) yeah Dreamcast ist great! I heard that there are still people who use hacked dreamcasts to surf the internet and do all kinds of stuff. But i rarely played it because i only had one game. I mostly bought the Dreamcast for Resident Evil: Code Vernica. Great game! Some more stuff i liked: Edited November 18, 2009 by Evil Genius
ballzac Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) I had one of these but I left it on my Dad's car and the kid next door came past and smashed it on the concrete. I mostly bought the Dreamcast for Resident Evil: Code Vernica. Great game! The best game on dreamcast was soul calibur. Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 Looks cool. I had some small matchbox cars but nothing big like that. Its sad that most toys of the youth get lost some time. When i reached puberty, i sold them all to prove how mature i was. Dumb ass me.
Rabelais Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Here was my first computer, shit all over the Commodore 64. It would have been about 1988 I think. Amstrad CPC 464 - can't believe I actually remember the model number. The programs would take hours to load by cassette. It came with a programming book and I remember spending a weekend typing code just to play computer blackjack. ballzac Posted November 18, 2009 Woah, trippy. The first pic that came up, the transformer or whatever it is, I had one of them too. I have very fond memories of this along with pop balls and coke yoyos and rubiks magic.

Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Dale, somehow i know the name Amstrad. Wasnt that one of the first computers ever or something like that? No matter what, that machine looks golden. I had a C64 but never ever got it running properly. And most of my games were corrupted because the floppy discs werent what you´d call unbreakable. Tramnsformers are still one of the greatest Toys ever! If you compare our toys to the kinky Pokemutant toys you know how good our toys were. Teotzlcoatl Posted November 18, 2009 I've been playing my Super Nintendo and N64 alot recently. Best systems ever made if you ask me.
Evil Genius Posted November 18, 2009 Sea Monkeys in Germany? yeah we had some of them too. But i assume we had european crab types. Looked the same tho. Best systems ever made if you ask me. Definately! I still play "Goldeneye"from time to time on my N64! That game is pure win!
Stinkmeat Posted November 18, 2009 Yeah, I crack my N64 out every now and then too. Definitely the best system ever made. Ocarina of Time FTW! And I also have my Sega MasterSystem packed away somewhere. Always good to pull out and dust off every blue moon. Alex the Kidd and Sonic the Hedgehog. What more could someone want. I remember having a couple of A - Team figurines as well. Mr T. was definitely my favourite, haha. I had never seen the show, and still haven't, but pieced most of it together through pop culture references. Ohhh, and Beast Wars! They were epic! If I'm not mistaken, it was the first fully CGI series on TV. I seem to be a bit younger than the people that have already posted, so most of my nostalgia is more recent on the time line. Interesting thread BTW
