Ephedra grass..?

Question

So I was walking around a lovely bit of parklands today and was noticing all the different types of trees and grasses and mushrooms growing etc and spotted this grass and wondered if any one could confirm it as type of Ephedra and are they the seed pods connected.

cheers.

H.

the smoked seed heads of some of the cyperus's are thought to increase effects of things like hbwr and even cacti (where legal...good luck with that one  ) it has been supposed on these forums that possibly quite a few of the plants in cyperaceae family...your papyrus's and so on could be active in a maoi kinda way

search engine is quite useful here
