shruman
Just a little treat for you mycos & mycettes, I'm no Ronnie or Bit with the cam but I'm sure yall will enjoy anyway.Foafies patch about a year old. Started from hessian just layed over newspaper & a thin layer of chips (mixed Eucy/pine) then topped till about 10cm depth (not too thick) K.I.S.SSee on the edge here how there are very little fruits?, apparently the chips here were taken to start a new patch a few months back & only a couple of fruits on the new wood which was just layed next to the old while right beside it the old bleached chips fruit well but plenty of fruits in the grass around the fresh chips.Foafs printsOther azie lovers feel free to post pics. shruman
"where's the wavy caps...? or is that Ps Cyans that have that trait."Yeah cyans= wavy cap. but some are wavy cause of gregarious. Not to much wood, all chips this one 10cm deep to deep takes to long to col & fruits poor. 3-4 yrs worth probly but you can always refresh. might extend next to it with log raft.Cheers matie

watertrade
Hahahaaaa, Watertrade!, friend sculpter brutha maaan?it might be closer than you think ;) I did have a few ideas for this. was the patch started from a culture your friend got in the mail? shruman
Yeah apparently from hessian, I talked to a greenie mean blue guy, I think he said it was started from print & put on agar & sectored & sectored relentlessly until this mad fruiter was formed. So if anybody gets prints I wouldn't expect this from multispore & apparently you would be lucky to get this from sectoring 20 odd times. Something special or so I'm told.Pretty sure its Anno's (shroomery), Astoria Ossip strainhttp://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.p...1404591#1404591http://sporeworks.com/store/catalog/Psiloc...rs-p-16154.html Edited June 6, 2009 by shruman

shruman
Apparently very strong, he hasnt had subs but prob 3-4 x cube potency, strong DMTesque like OEV's from as little as 4g fresh. So strong so different."it might be closer than you think ;) I did have a few ideas for this."If anyone can do it...

Chiral
Be interesting what that frost does to the colour of the caps...I've seen frost on sub caps and then rain shortly there after can turn them black...but frost then clear sunny days tends to make the caps turn a light tan colour and they lose that caramel colour look.H. poo
Really impressive man - well done. Awesome to have such a handy patch, and they look so damn cute! Were you expecting them to pop up or did it sorta come as a surprise? Think if I wandered down the back yard and saw that going on I'd go mental with excitement; I mean I know you made the bed of chips and so on, but to see it actually work in the end is awesome! Enjoy Edited June 6, 2009 by poo
Zen Peddler
Wow you did really well with those. they look strangely familiar LOL...The isolate thats been around a fair while now. Cloned since at least 2001 or 02 - probably longer. Looks like it hasnt got tired. Im particularly interested in your comments about the blue staining on these compared to that apparent on subaeruginosa - specifically the colour of the staining.Im also interested in your opinion on bioassay in terms of qualitive experiences compared to subs and potency. If they manage to fruit of eucalyptus let me know too! Edited June 7, 2009 by Zen Peddler BlueGreenie
shruman
Thanks Zen, means alot , they are growing off Eucly/pine prob 60/40, but theres some others from a patch prob 90% Eucy, 2nd pic VV, sorry mate cant compare to subs... yet.Poo: I had high hopes but was'nt 100% counting on it & when they evantualy popped I was more than suprised Hunab: Yeah the frost did make them go pretty dark, almost black on some (did'nt take any pics Doh). We had about 4 days in a row of hard frost & -5 (min) odd weather & I thought they were done for pinning realy slowed & fruits were small but it was followed up with showers pretty much since & at the right time, night/early morn & they have started to fruit better again.Noone noticed the frosty coinslot??LOLDifferent patch, different location, 90% odd Eucy, started a month or 2 later, first flush for this patch. Hardly any supplemental watering. Tub of colonized chipsFoaf made a bag up for someoneFirst fruits in the styro box, box & tub were made up much later. The aliens have landed & who knew they would have such tiny flying saucers, latest flush after hard frosts.
