Hey guys, as I said before I will be there with bells on. Me and a fellow SAB member were just chatting and we thought it would be a cool idea if perhaps we were to have a BBQ? Mb not at this meet. Every one bring some snags or salad or what ever and fire up a park BBQ somewhere, any takers? The RBG have bbqs?

Have a good one, Gen

Was defiantly thinking of having a BBQ on the POST-EGA meet on the 7/12, so this would be a good trial so yep think it would be a good idea. Anyone going near there to scope out the nears BBQ to the cactus garden?

I did a whereis.com.au search the other day. They show parks with BBQ's etc. Needless to say I didn't know where the gardens were :P Mb someone that knows things about stuff could do another search?

Gen

*EDIT*

Ok, so I decided not to be shit at life.

Maps of the garden:

Map of the RBG

And also:

Picnics

"You may picnic anywhere within the Gardens with the exception of areas marked private, garden beds and areas that have been reserved for private functions.

Please note: that barbeques are NOT permitted within the Gardens."

I think it is safe to say we wont be having a barbie... Picnic anyone? :P

I didn't remember seeing barbies there, and was going to go and wander round the park, looked at the maps there and stuff. I think you just saved me a walk.

A beer... No... Many yes... :P I don't know if we are allowed to drink in the park. The secret is you get a large maccas cup and put a stubbie in it. Many a movie theater has been infiltrated with this age old technique, lol. I am all for beers man, mb hit up a pub afterwards?

*Edit: It's my birthday on the Wednesday, eh eh eh... lol*

It's not that pair of undies you found is it?

EDIT: Oh, also got some nut brown ales that I might bring along for trade or whatever...but they won't be ready to drink yet unfortunately.

EDIT 2: Spelling (Haha, NUB brown ale)

I had a feeling you could not use BBQ, as the oil would be a problem, I think there may be a BBQ area for hire only for weddings and that, so Picnic it is.
