Removable greenhouse project

Recommended Posts

Here's some pictures that show the space.

Final dimensions are 20ft.X16ft. = 320 sq.ft

It will be built like a giant coldframe following the same roof pitch down to about 4 ft. at the endwall.

I better get busy, winters coming fast!

This is a follow up.

It just took a loong time to get back on the project...

The October rains and approaching winter are motivating me again.

I still have a bunch more cacti to squeeze in before I cover it.

Late afternoon pictures.

I'm sorry for the dirty windows

Just about everything is planted and the top dressing is on.

Next to the trowell in picture 1 are three Eileens in a row I planted today.I have 5 total in the bed.

I'm trying to get multiples of the clones I especially like in the ground.

The thing I like about Osprey, is that whenever I think I'm crazy with my cacti, I see one of his pics and remember there's always someone crazier! :D

Respect sir!

Looks great so far man, I like the way you kept the slope of the roof going.

G'Luck, look forward to seeing the finished product.

What do you think you're going to cover it up with?

Peace

I worked all day in the rain getting the frame done.

It's just about ready to cover with plastic.

Total cost including plastic less than $200.00

Before I cover it, I will do the weeding and load all the plants in.

To diss-assemble it,the joists come off and the 3 walls come off as complete units.

The 3 walls will lean against the oppisite side of the building during growing season.

I'm pretty happy with my little botanical garden.

Oh right, I thought he was in Australia.

Anyway, being overseas doesn't stop people bugging me for mine!
