Recently it's been noticed that P. atlantis was not actually correctly identified, and is in fact Psilocybe galindoi (galindii). See this page for details.. and this thread for discussion. Zen Peddler Posted October 17, 2008 Some mycologists now doubt the method used by Guzman et al where they delineate species based purely minor differences in one or two types of microscopic sterile cells on their gill edge and face.
