Hellonasty
Would like to know a few things about common morning glory. What time of year does it produce seeds ?Is it possible to start a new vine from a small cutting of vine or do you need a seed ?From what I have read it grows quite easily and is invasive to an extent.thanks

Hellonasty
waterdragon i'm north of sydney not very far really. There are some huge vines just near my house with nice coloured blue/violet flowers all over them I was looking for seed pods(not very close)but didn't see any. I will go back and look for seeds I think.
jetblack
I've never seen a time of year without them here. As far as I've seen they grow and get more leaves for periods of a couple of months, then stop and produce flowers and seeds for a couple of months, then continue growing, and so on. I'm in Brisvegas though, so we may just have a nice climate for it.
mescalito
Don't think it matters too much-I moved from the A.C.T.last year, and my vine seeded every couple'a months.I'm not sure what strain it was, but,it had white stripes on pink flowers- flying saucer I think
