Tighter restrictions on drugs in SA pubs

Recommended Posts

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/12/16/2120097.htm

It is now illegal for people to take certain prescription or controlled drugs into licensed premises after 9:00pm in South Australia.

The new laws are aimed at curbing drink spiking.

The ban runs from 9:00pm to 5:00am every day, but only covers drugs which can cause a person to become intoxicated.

Other drugs such as antibiotics and asthma puffers are exempt.
