0 tonic Posted May 29, 2007 Hi lsdreamz, have not seen you around for a while, how goes it? 1. Is 98% sure Gymnocalycium pflanzii, thought there are few others that look very similiar. 2. Is another Gymnocalycium sp. I have a few of these and would love a positive ID myself. These tend to have a nice pink flower and flower quite freely. 3. Unsure but looks to be another Gymnocalycium sp. 4. Is not a cactus but a succulent it is a Euphorbia obesum I believe, definitely a Euphorbia at any rate, beware the caustic latex
0 Ace Posted May 29, 2007 Nice finds lsdreams! I love the last one (the probable E. obesa) - thats one that I cant seem to find anywhere. Do you mind if I ask what prices were on these nice little fellas (perticularly the obesa)? Cheers
0 tonic Posted May 30, 2007 You might want to check this then Ace ebay Euphorbia obesa
0 nothinghead Posted June 9, 2007 (edited) It appears that (4) has spines that indicate it is not euphorbia obesa. Hard to tell from the blurry picture, though. I would group it with the others as a gymnocalycium sp. Edited June 9, 2007 by cough
