Not any more, flat out even remembering which end makes the pretty lines on the paper now.
Greeny Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) I heard somewhere that spores can travel thru space is this true? Edited May 1, 2007 by Greeny
paradox Posted May 1, 2007 I heard somewhere that spores can travel thru space is this true? i believe so. or rather i have read so. aren't they covered in chitin, which is the hardest known organic substance. is it not? suposedly able to remain dormant potentially for thousands or millions of years in the vacuum of space, very impervious to radiation etc ? genki Posted May 2, 2007 i found a handful of tiny subs on an exploratory stroll around a suburban uni on monday, didnt have a camera to take any pics unfortunately. most of the places i found them last year are still far too dry, its just this one patch that is off to an early start. Conan Troutman Posted May 2, 2007 Still quite dry in the bush here also, although there are some decent signs of fungi activity...

genki Posted May 2, 2007 id say its still a bit early for subs in most of melbourne but earlier this week there were definately some subs around inner(ish) and and outer eastern suburbs. there was a dramatic increase in the number of different species around after the weekends rain so fingers crossed we get some more soon

Ace Posted May 3, 2007 Are you sure they are all subs Shroomeup? Theres a few that look a lil suspect IMO - and there doesnt seem to be much if any bruising...
Shroomeup Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) Are you sure they are all subs Shroomeup? Theres a few that look a lil suspect IMO - and there doesn't seem to be much if any bruising... Yeah mate they are definitely all subs. The first pic was taken only a few minutes after picking them so they hadn't had a chance to bruise up yet. The ones in the second pic were starting to dry out a bit which made some quite odd looking and harder to distinguish the bluing. Thanks for your concern though but I do know what I am doing. MORG Posted May 7, 2007 I'm wondering what those second two are because there were heaps of them Interesting at all? There's probably alot about them that's interesting. If you're wondering if they contain psilocybin, then probably not. They don't look like any previosuly documented Australian psychoactive fungus.
