ThunderIdeal Posted April 18, 2007 I cant seem to find any info on these things anywhere - are they a common occurance? Are they of much value? i'd reckon so, seeing as they're bluer than yo momma's winter extremities. maybe they're more like philo stones? if anybody feels like revealing all on this matter, go right on ahead. Rev Posted April 19, 2007 i could go to the shroomery dont make me go in there mama please! its not so easy to sift through all the shite. and if you search you have to search the threads not the main site or you get very little info on anything they are, if its a cube, hardened growths that are like sclerotia in this effect but have no known function unlike real sclerotia they dont cope with adverse conditions then fruit if its blue its good there was also talk bout over incubation bein good its a known phenomenom in biotechnology that usually once sugar is used up the secondary metabolites increase significantly did it fruit? ENtiTY Posted April 21, 2007 (edited) Ok ppl here are some pics showing the progress of Syzygy Enjoy! Nice fruits!! See the large growth a the base of the cake? Here is another pic of the fruits. How many growths can you see? Syzygy Cases Fruiting. More growths! The growths have gotten a lil bigger, hopefully during next flush they will put on some more size and the fruits will be a lil larger as well. Want more pics? OK Here are some pics of Ecuador. And some Orissa's Hope ya'll liked them. Edited April 21, 2007 by Harry
user1 Posted April 21, 2007 (edited) fruiting bonanza! very nice as usual haz EDIT: i wonder, is there much difference between strains experientially? like for example are some 'gentler' than others, or more visual, or whatever? ENtiTY Posted April 22, 2007 Here are some nice pics of the growths. Notice the growth cut in half on the right showing the guts. This pics shows a cut growth that has been dried. Perdy shade eh?
ENtiTY Posted April 23, 2007 SWIM originaly started with cakes and was flat out yielding enough for a dosage. These are SWIM's first cased grows, intent being to get a greater yield for that very purpose GCF. SWIM now has fruits comin out of his ears but life at the moment hasen't afforded him the opertunity to go on a tasting tour if ya catch my drift. One such opertunity may present itself mid week I am hoping SWIM is keen to try the Orissa's as these have been rumored to be one of the most potent of cubes, but seeing the perdy colour these beauties have come out and the particular intrest within the community I think Syzygy might take pole position for SWIM's fungy feast Keep ya'll posted. ENtiTY Posted April 27, 2007 Thanx GCF Some of the lumps throw caps SWIM has noticed that never develop properly. Others just get bigger. SWIM was starting to think they were just mutant pins which is kind of what they are i guess. SWIM is going to take tissue samples to culture as if the pseudo sclerotia are caused by infection chances are they won't carry over into the next gen. Bit of a novelty, nice potent novelty though SWIM will BIO over weekend and I shall relay the results.
ThunderIdeal Posted April 28, 2007 ahh you never know, it could be one of those viral infections that just has a minor, barely-detrimental effect, like some planets that are variegated due to a virus. fruiting bonanza! very nice as usual haz EDIT: i wonder, is there much difference between strains experientially? like for example are some 'gentler' than others, or more visual, or whatever? all i can think of is that some contain some other, more toxic substances in usually small amounts (so they could make you more sick, or trip in a different way). other than that, the psilocybin/psilocin ratio would have an effect. i've been told that philo stones have more psilocin and the experience is quite different. ENtiTY Posted April 28, 2007 Okey dokey pplz, interested in some updates? There's a few freaks in there LOL And the Ecuador's Flushing SEEEEEEXY!! Two more to go I don't know what SWIM is going to do with all those mushies He has them coming out his and then some! AndyAmine. Posted April 28, 2007 I dont know if its been mentioned already but you should try to isolate some of them onto agar and see if you can work on making its a good sclerotia producer.
