a few fungai found whilst walking today!

last 2 look like a slippery jack... did it have gills or a sponge type formation?

spores i suppose, very small if so. bottom looked pretty much like the top did. slimey.

Don't know if the last one is a Slipper Jack, kind of looks like it but there is no velum ring on the stipe.

First one looks like some kind of bolete. Second one looks like a Ganoderma of some kind and i don't know if the third is a slippery Jack although it does look a bit like one, its hard to tell. If it was growing off a stump it more than likely isn't a Slippery Jack. They grow underneath pine trees from the pine roots. I found a few slipperies here in south east queensland the otherday, they are just starting to fruit now but very sparsely. hopefully in another month there will be lots of them.

for some reason, i thought slippery jack was a bolete, yeah, I wasnt sure about that ID cause something didnt look right about it, the stem maybe
