 :lol: Thanks fellas Ill pass it on to my friend B)

He says there were heaps of meanies there too but they werent blueing up right away so only picked a handfull jst in case, only to find they were black as ink a couple of hours later.

Is there much interest in unsterile NNSW Pan/Cube prints, suitable for microscopy and other purposes? :)

Sorry for the late replies to everyone asking about prints, Ive been a bit overwhellmed by the response particularly for pan prints (go figure :P ), so Ill get back to you soon.

Thanks for helping us all out Andy - no rush man, do what you gotta do :P

I really hope you get to go back out on another hunt - looking forward to a couple more pickies :)

I know this would be available via SE, but could someone quickly tell me how far south the Pans are likely to be found? Are they pretty much the same as cubies, climate wise? I remember someone telling me theres a chance they'd be found in ACT and south NSW, but I'm thinking that'd be highly unlikes due to the vast differences in climate. Could anyone provide any more details on this?

Hey Ace,

I used to live in NNSW and the climate isn't really any different from Canberra at least where I come from. Little colder in winter by a couple a degrees but thats about it. Might also get a bit more rain up in NNSW but not much.

Maybe there is some other factor that inhibits there growth here if they are in fact not found round Canberra.

a mate of mine lives in canberra and he reckons it's just too dry around there. there is nowhere near as much humidity generally as there is on the coast (especially the north coast), and the nights get very cold. still, ACT hunters do report the occasional find here and on shroomery, so the conditions are sometimes present i suppose.

Hey guys, though I should chuck these pics up in this thread as it was in the same area around the same time - these were found in SE QLD, around early to mid January....

nicely done, good huntin... though a FOAF of a FOAF of mine says that the FOAFS of the F's in Blue say the FOAFS in blue aren't fooled by what a FOAF said to a FOAF about what a FOAF did to start with...you can still end up in court or under surveillance by FOAFS of the state, if anything they're increasingly irked by FOAFS thinkin that sayin FOAF keeps em immune from the interest of the FOAFS of the state.Ask the copious amounts of FOAFS raided by FOAFS after the shutdown and dissecting of the Overfoaf.com growsite servers.Especially when including highly detailed pics of FOAFS, images of sites easily "narrowdownable" on the basis of vegetation and mountains in background, or prove willing to mail prints from FOAFS to any FOAF that happens to have registered more than week ago and seem cool enough.Things do get intercepted and printed, with the results put on various vast, scary databases, a FOAF of mine used to work at the FOAF's of John Tonge's Centre in brissie (big scary forensic / tox / food sci/virology/raidation monitoring centre , ahh the things my FOAF used to be able to knock off from work now n then) and reckons you'd be amazed what his old workFOAFS actually are keeping track of for future use, up to and including one of the saddest things he's seen, the database of false sex assault complainants. The powers that be want to remain the powers that be, semantics won't beat em at that game should they set their sights on your site.

in good spirit
